An application error might occur when moving a data icon in the Project Explorer view in SAS Enterprise Guide. This will most likely occur when the data icon that is being moved links to data that does not exist in the environment that is used by the project.

To circumvent the problem, you can perform one of these tasks:

• In the project, recreate the data before attempting to move the data icon in the Project Explorer window.
• Save a copy of the project, then delete the data nodes that do not exist on the SAS System server.
